Do I own my domain?
A domain bought here is registered in your name. Price varies by ending (all prices).
What is mine?
Your content is yours. The designs and software are smashPC's. With an active plan, your profile can be downloaded as web page files from Account settings, under Your data.
How is Home ordered, and are there ads?
Newest first, one post per person per day. No ranking and no ads.
Can I see how many people visit my page?
Yes. Account settings, under Your data, shows visits for today, the last 7 and 30 days, and all time. Only you see these numbers. The visit counter, off by default, shows the total on your page, your website and your bar. Names and addresses are not stored.
What does it cost?
A profile is $2 a month. $19 a year for your own .com. Plans are canceled in Billing and run to the end of the period paid for.
What does the AI do with my words?
Your description is sent to an AI provider, which returns a theme, colors and a small drawing. The AI does not write your page.
smashPC AI uses AI models from companies including Anthropic and Google.
Using the editor
How do I change the look?
The look panel has two parts. Designs opens Templates, Make with AI and Your designs; each shows on your page first, and Apply puts it on. Style changes the design in use: Colors, Fonts, Header, Boxes and buttons, Background and More. Modify your page makes new looks too when its words ask for a whole new look.
How do I add a section?
Each part of the page has its own Add: Add to Top, Add to Left side, and the others. A page holds up to 10 sections. Modify your page can add one from plain words.
How do I add a photo?
The profile photo is under Name and photo, with its Edit. A Gallery section holds up to 12 photos, and a Welcome section one, each added from that section's Edit.
What does Modify your page do?
It changes the page from plain words, typed or spoken: its words, its sections and its look. Before anything changes it says what will change and what it uses. Words, sections and small look changes are free; new looks and pictures use credits. It writes only the facts you give it: a missing one, like opening hours, is left as a yellow blank for you to fill in.
When do changes go live?
Changes wait until Publish, and only you see them. The bar at the top says Unpublished changes, with Preview, Discard and Publish.
How do I undo something?
A deleted section has Undo where it was, and Restore under Recently deleted, below Pages, for 30 days. A change made with Modify your page has one Undo for all of it. Earlier looks are kept under Your designs, each with Apply.
